Johnsen was supposed to be the voice of civil liberties and non-expansive executive power in this administration. Until she gets there, it's no surprise that the OLC hasn't changed things much - it's pretty much operating rudderless.
Senate: confirm her. Now.

You have no IDEA how many executive officials have not yet been confirmed. This is a problem with every new administration, but it gets worse every time.
And, yes, I'm betting that Johnsen's advice is sorely needed right now.
